  1. I bought a pair about four years ago. I had a very bad sprained ankle and had to wear a support. I have worn the shoes out and need a new pair. I had purchased them at Galyans in Plainfield, Indiana.
Can you tell me the best store close by Plainfield where aI may purchase another pair.
    Thanks, Violet

  3. I just bought my first ever RYKA–running trail exodus black and pink shoes!!!!!!!! I absolutely love it. I just recently encountered pain in my right foot and have been putting off running for a couple days now. I guess my old shoes are wearing off and they weren’t as cushioned and supported as my RYKA!I started running just today and I felt a complete change in the way my ankles and feet are hitting the floor. My feet aren’t hurting and I was surprised. This shoe really supports the right parts of my feet. I remember purchasing it and putting it on at the store. I told my boyfriend that this shoe feels different. It was more narrow on the heel, wide for the upper feet which gives me room, and it is very cushioned. Right when I looked at the box and read what this shoe was going to benefit me, it said the same thing I was telling my boyfriend as i tried it on. I love this shoe. the style is great too. It was totally worth the money. Thank YOU!

  6. I purchased a pair of Ryka aerobic shoes many years ago and have worn them out. I am trying to replace them – do you recommend a studio shoe, or a crosstrainer for doing basic aerobic routines at home? Thank-you.

  7. Love the sneakers. Can’t wait to receive some offers. Thanks!

  8. If you are wearing them for an aerobic workout, then we would suggest one of our studio styles as they are designed to offer you the proper cushioning, rebound and stability for those types of movements. You will find our current studio collection here.

  9. I’ve tried several different brands of athletic shoes but wasn’t able to get a proper fit until I tried the Ryka running shoe. The wider toe box and narrow heal is exactly what I needed. No more blisters thanks to a sales associate at Younkers for recommending them.

  13. I have heard of Ryka before, but till now never tried. I have to say, I have been missing out. I bought the Revive 2 and 3 and love both pairs. They cushion each step and I feel comfortable to walk my dogs or do low impact excersises without the feeling of my toes going numb or walking on my ankle to keep presure of my knees. No more blisters and no more uncomfortability. Thank you…and sheer genius pair of shoes. Highly recommend to friends.

  18. I HAVE BEEN USING MY “TRANSITION” FOR ZUMBA CLASSES FOR THE LAST 7MONS. AND I RECENTLY PURCHASED A PAIR OF “SYNERGY”. I FOUND THEM BETTER FOR MY FEET POSSIBLY BECAUSE OF THE EXTRA CUSHION OVER THE TRANSITION. I EVEN WEAR THEM TO WORK AND I COULD FEEL THE DIFFERENCE THEY MAKE AT THE END OF THE DAY. I AM GETTING READY TO BUY ANOTHER PAIR THIS TIME “REGULATE” SINCE I PLAN TO ADD RUNNING TO MY ROUTINE. I’M SURE THAT I WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED.

    Comment by Arlene — August 25, 2011 @ 7:47 am

  19. I just purchased the Running Revive 3 and the Training Transition.

I have tried many running shoes, with no luck, either bulky, cut me in the ankle, make my ball of foot hurt and cause numbness. Felt like I had to give up running. I do local competition running, not a pro, but pretty good for age 42, and hope these will help prevent future shin splints. I can’t wait to try these out.

When I opened the box and saw the information about the Q-Angle, I was amazed. Now I wonder if my previous shoes have caused my shin splints.

What recommendation do you have for step aerobics?

    Comment by Gina — August 29, 2011 @ 2:26 pm

  20. We would suggest that you take a look at one of our high performance stability styles such as the Enhance or Synergy, here. These two styles will work great for all of your high and low impact studio activities needs.

  24. Hi,

I’m looking for an all around shoe, I walk and do low impact. Running bothers my knees. One of my heels is always sore after walking. Could you please recommend a good all around, everyday shoe? Thanks!!

  25. My daughter just got a new pair and LOVES them. They got very dirty from a lot of dust from walking around a festival. How can I clean them ? Is it safe to put them in a washing machine ?

    Comment by Jenny — September 26, 2011 @ 5:16 am

  26. It sounds like you would benefit from a crosstraining style. Our trainers offer you great cushioning and front to back and side to side stability, here. You can wear trainers for multiple indoor and outdoor activities.

  27. We’re happy you asked. We like clean shoes! First, remove the insole. Using a toothbrush, a small amount of mild detergent (no bleach please), and cold water, wash your shoes by hand.
Rinse with cold water and let shoes air dry. Avoid putting your shoes in the washer and dryer at all costs.

  28. Would really like to know the closest place to Springfield, MO that I can buy Rykas. I like to try before I buy. thx! J

  29. I will NOT purchase any brand other than RYKA. I discovered them by accident many years ago and have loved just about every pair I’ve purchased. From step aerobics to walking to running…they are like walking on clouds. Only ever had one pair that was a semi-disappointment, but I think it’s because I was too vain to admit I needed a half-size larger. I’m not a “brand name” buyer by any means, except when it comes to my Rykas! Please keep ‘em coming!

  30. I have flat feet (thanks Dad) and have had problems with pronation since I was a teen. What lace up shoes would you suggest. Would Exodus or Exodus 2 be ideal. I am NOT a runner. Hopefully they will help with my hips hurting time to time. Thank you.

    Comment by Linnea Sutton — October 18, 2011 @ 7:16 pm

  31. We do have a couple styles that specialize in motion control that should work great for you. The Trail Exodus 2 run and Pursuit 2 run both offer pronation control, here. The Trail Exodus (K21043) should work great as well.

    Comment by Jen — March 31, 2012 @ 8:21 pm

  43. The best Ryka shoe for your 1/2 marathon would be the Ryka Revive 3 – you can find out more and purchase the Revive 3 here

    Comment by Ryka — April 5, 2012 @ 6:57 pm

  44. Feels great and looks good too!out of 5 starsI am an aerobic inutcsrtor who has no arch. Thus I need a shoe that is comfortable and can deal with the stress of high impact aerobics. This shoe handles the stresses perfectly. Moreover, this shoe is very stylish. Many aerobic shoes look like mini cruise ships and make your feet look enormous. However, this shoe is comfortable and looks great. You can workout with the shoe and wear it out for casual outings. I highly recommend this shoe!
